Sony thinking Marathon is less risky than Destiny makes no sense to me. Destiny already has recall, community, and demand. Marathon still has to prove it can build all three.

2:00 Not even just Concord. All the other live service bs they've funded too: Horizon Hunters Gathering, Last of Us Online, Spider-Man: The Great Web, God of War Live Service, and probably others. They'll put time and money into dozens of live service ideas but put the one with a proven track record, established player and ex-player base, and that's been going 10+ years on ice to focus on a hardcore extraction shooter. At this point Sony isn't risk adverse, they're competent idea adverse.
