Same thing happened to Warbrick for the storm last week.. funny that the ref said the exact opposite when it's the storm..

By definition he loses control of it. It's in his hand and he doesn't want it to be.

They need to bring back raking from the marker - that would stop players playing the ball like like under 8’s

A knock on is a knock on, regardless of sticky hands…I’ve seen that happen before and it was penalised, for the ref to say he doesn’t lose control of it basically disqualifies him from refereeing…even if you don’t think it’s a knock on, he’s still lost control in the play the ball

By definition Curran last week grazed his boot... But to the letter of the law they say no try. Letter of the law here he loses it. Depends who the ref and NRL wants week to week.

There was a penalty given against Tallis Duncan for high contact even though the player literally slipped into him and the ref apologised and explained that he understood there was nothing Tallis could do but it had to be a penalty because that’s the rule. Where’s the consistency with this? It led directly to a try and it’s literally been ruled a knock on in every other instance that it’s happened leading up to this game

I really think the game would benefit from relaxing the interpretations. To me that is fine, there’s no clear forward movement so play on.

So if it’s raining and I lose the ball because it’s wet, I didn’t actually drop the ball, it was the water’s fault for being slippery? Gee wiz…
