You've reached the end
I knew it. I batted .228 in JV but I just needed to get to the big leagues, it would’ve been so much easier to hit off Paul Skenes
He also said hits not in the bigs don’t count because the standard is so much higher in mlb.
My 6 year old was struggling in little league, so I signed him up to play for the Yankees, now he's leading the league in slugging %.
It's easier for good hitters as the variables are lowered. Now being good enough to get there is hard as hell
Yeah, I remember Shohei Ohtani played in a 7th grade charity event and kept striking out because he was so used to how easy it was in the big leagues...
I get his point but uh... yeah this aint true lol
Nah no bs 😂😂😂 cause I met mfrs who were league hitters in hs but that’s .28-.33 … bro you gotta be a ridiculous slugger and hitter period in lower levels to be able to go to the majors and be 3 out of ten to go to the hall 😂😂😂 he’s not lying.
If the umpires are better in the bigs, then we are fucked
It’s easy for him cuz he’s the best hitter ever 😂
“Dont care what car you are”
Uhh Pete I think you forgot that the pitching is also better in the bigs so I disagree with you 😂
Pete should have got mason miller to pitch to him 104 on the balck with a slider thay breaks 20 inches at 93 mph
the generational guys always make it seem so easy, Barry Bonds said something similar. They're not regular people.
Did he say the umps are better??
As a Cincinnatian it hurts it only took his death for the MLB to truly celebrate him. One of the greatest ever, and loved the game. The MLB prevented an incredible mentor from doing what he does best, hitting and teaching about hitting.
Pete! ❤️🔥 Will always be 1 of my favorites! Much Love for this Man, from NE O.H.! ⚾️🫶☝️🩵
It’s a similar argument for playing poker, it’s a lot easier to play against guys that are professionals because you know they know what they’re doing and how they’d play hands. With people that don’t play often or suck you can’t get a good read because you don’t know they may be playing A6o to the river solely because of the A even though the first 4 cards and betting makes it an obvious fold. I’m not a pro by any stretch I just play a lot online and it’s so much easier playing against the guys I know than random guys I’ve never seen on there.
4,256 hits ....it'll never be broken
Let me put that into perspective...the dude struck out only once every 3.2 GAMES...OVER A 24 YEAR CAREER...there are hitters today who strike out once per 3.2 ABs....
Did he mentioned that the ball slows down in the big leagues too?
