SL has a bit to go to beat NZ ! Too many brain fades….not passing the ball to an open Winger….basic skill!
Lasidu should have been allowed to captain for the entire duration
Naveen still going down without carrying the ball upright. bad coaching, he should try to burst the line not go down anticipating the tackle. you don't gain anything and you are more likely to lose the ball. Don't know when they learn these basic skills.
SL Some weird fascination with a useless pick and go throught the game that didn't remotely look like working vastshare of poccesion but lost by a big margin. Same in the first game nothing learned. Excellent back line that was deliberately starved of ball. We have to reduce the contact area against the big men in the Asian series. This was the ideal opportunity to test the backs . Did ff all, tbh . A great opportunity squandered needlessly. Left at least 4 scoring opportunities out there easily. And the ref too a bit meh.. swayed by the NZ captain way too much shld have asked him to keep mum
The SL team can do it in one day. Just keep practicing.
