The Police Did NOTHING

I had EXACTLY the same predicament but the police then threatened me that if I took it back it'd be theft..but I proved it was mine. They said "leave it with us" then it disappeared. Now I never use the police for anything

We need to take the law into our own hands. Police are not to be trusted!!!

I had the same thing happen to me. I was at my kitchen window when I saw someone trying to break into my car. I called the police and they told me that they didn’t have anyone in the area so I said it’s ok I’ve got a baseball bat, I’ll stop the thief myself. The police told me not to as I could get in trouble for assault 🤷‍♂️ I said I’m just gonna defend my property and stop the car from being stolen. I team outside and shouted at the thief who had managed to get in the car by this time and was starting the engine. As I ran towards the car the thief drove off and at the same time a police car came screaming around the corner, lights and siren screaming away. They screeched to a halt and jumped out when they saw me with my bat coming towards me. I pointed to my car driving over the hill and they were only interested in what I was doing with the bat!!!! They harassed me then for nearly an hour before leaving. I later found out who it was that stole my car and where it was but when I called the police and reported this to them they did nothing 🤷‍♂️ I went and got my car back with a couple of my friend and then had to explain why to the police because as soon as I reported that I’d recovered my car they wanted answers! I told them they were useless and they deserved nothing. British police, waste of space 😡

I smell the nearness of self policing to keep what is ours safe and sound
