Scotish pronounciation is developed after a long whisky party 😅😂🤣 I have had a very wonderfull evening talking to a scotish guy in the 1980th, we have had a lot of fun but i'm sure none of us could repeat the topics of our conversation next day 😉 😁

I used to work with a procurement specialist named Joe O’Shea. Joe was Irish. He was trying to procure some item from Mexico. The receptionist’s voice came over the intercom, very puzzled, announcing a call for a “Jose O Shoe”. After a period of stunned wonder, the entire engineering department collapsed in laughter. And Joe went to take his call.

I just know she's so bloody tired of talking about this all the time. I know Irish and Scottish Gaelic names can be fascinating to people who aren't familiar with them but it's not only a constant theme for people interviewing her but so many people are actually pretty disrespectful about it. Irish and Scottish Gaelic spellings are actually much more logical compared to English spelling - you just have to learn the phonology first!
