He Wanted To Teach Him Responsibility Before Life Did. Sometimes the hardest part of parenting is teaching lessons your children don’t want to learn. The people who care about us most often push us toward responsibility because they know life will eventually teach those lessons anyway, and life is usually far less forgiving. It’s easy to mistake accountability for punishment when we’re young, but discipline, effort, and responsibility are the foundations of independence. Good parents don’t prepare the path for their children; they prepare their children for the path. Because sooner or later, excuses run out, consequences arrive, and every person must decide what kind of life they’re willing to build for themselves. It’s actually stupid, start the training from the beginning not when you’ve spoiled him and be becomes what you created
Then again, telling your kid to work construction because you're disappointed at how close to 20 years of absentee parenting turned them into a spoiled brat isn't exactly the kind of quick fix that will actually straighten him out.
He saw him having fun for 3 seconds😭
Men fr galzing a literal mafia boss and serial killer😂 I mean sure, discipline is good and all, but yall acting as if Tony is some kind of good father
“Go back to your room!” For over 20 years. Now suddenly it’s “youre working construction now”😊
Just one thing to point out. Cement and winter don't go well together. Edit: I am aware that there are work arounds for it. I just know that concrete work slows down in winter, so it seems strange to me that the guy would start his kid working in winter for a concrete guy. There are many other trades that would keep busier.
Average adult watching their teenage son enjoy life: Edit: everyone down below defending this absolute psycho behavior definitely needs cps called on them.
" Dont put me to the test " 😤 I feel that in my soul.
Dad's when they see their kids having fun Edit: all these commentors are actually restarted vvvvv
he wasnt teaching him responsibility, he was angry that the kid had something he never had, freedom.
I'm not saying tony is bad for trying to discipline his child. I'm just saying he should have been strict with him since day one.
All that just because he played games🥀😭💔
Tony was so patient with him in this scene
Bro he gave him a job on the spot z, that's amazing.
He just doesn't want to talk with his son. Like any other arrogant father with anger issues.
That's why dad's important 😊
My stepdad did the exact same thing to me in my early 20s. At the time, I was addicted to video games, had no social life, and no financial stability. I remember arguing with him about it, but looking back, that push was one of the best things that ever happened to me. Because of it, I got a job, earned my college degree, and built a life I’m genuinely proud of. Today, I’m married, have two cats, a good income, and I’m happier than I’ve ever been. This year, I was able to take my mom and stepdad on their first vacation, and I hope to keep finding ways to bring joy to their lives. In hindsight, what felt like tough love at the time turned out to be exactly what I needed.
Meadow and AJ were the real villains of this show I swear. I could not stand them. Literally could not stand them
The worst example humanity could use and yet here we are..
Unrealistic standards: father ACTUALLY provides an opportunity instead of advice. Normally boomers just talk and don’t be like „I got you a solution until you found an upgrade“.
