SAS: Rogue Heroes Season 1, Episode 6 pushes the unit toward one of its riskiest operations, after the meeting with Churchill gives the SAS room to act more boldly than before. In this scene, Stirling gathers the men for a brutally awkward medical inspection before the next mission. Doctor Gamal has been brought in from Cairo to check them for desert sores and open ulcers, because Stirling wants everyone fit for what is coming. The humor is dry, but the warning is serious. Stirling says he expects one third of them may not return. When the men ask how they are supposed to get to Crete, his answer is simple: by submarine. And when they ask how he plans to get one, he has already solved that too. The moment works because it turns military preparation into something absurd and tense at the same time. The men are joking about toothbrushes and infections, but underneath the comedy is the reality that Stirling is sending them into a mission where survival is far from guaranteed. In the U.S., SAS: Rogue Heroes Season 1 is currently streaming on fuboTV, MGM+ Amazon Channel, MGM Plus Roku Premium Channel, MGM Plus, Philo, and Spectrum On Demand. JustWatch currently lists no free streaming option for Season 1. #SASRogueHeroes #SASRogueHeroesSeason1 #Episode6 #DavidStirling #DoctorGamal #CreteMission #SpecialAirService #WWIIDrama #WarDrama #MilitaryDrama #BritishDrama #shorts #movie 📌Disclaimer:This video is a fan-edited short made for entertainment and commentary purposes under fair use. "I have already got a fucking submarine!" SAS can do right there.
The real Crete mission was insane
The doctor's real name is Dominic DeCocco, truly the realest of italians.
Desert sores are no joke. Those things will spread and ruin your mobility and hurt like a bitch. And they can cause a multitude of other issues.
Wirebrush and dental.... iykyk
Ooo that brings back memories of getting inspected for blisters on an aircrew survival course and getting them injected with iodine ... i sometimes wake up in the night hearing the screams 😂😅😱
Lol I love how this is the scene that made me realize I need to watch this show again. Show-SAS ROGUE HEROS
This gives me flashbacks to11 day where we all had to get a physical exam. The biggest difference is we didn't know each other. And we didn't have a mutual sense of humor. Hello one guy did quip , anybody who asked me if I come here often , i'm gonna break the face of. We called him joker all through Boot camp.
My grandad was in the desert & Tobruk but was moved out due to an ulcer. I dunno.how you get ulcers in the desert & we only knew 50 years later when my boss got his war record for me.
Howzat?
too bad they didnt have wet wipes
"Wire brush and dettol, sir"
Did you really blur the male chest? YouTube isn’t making you do that so you decided to be weird on your own. Maybe create your own shit instead of stealing video clips and you wouldn’t have to censor unnecessary shit. GFY
Never heard it called desert sores
Wonder if Paddy would have liked the idea that it was the IRA who invented the submarine
I cant wait for season 3
Wonder if they will do the mission I heard about when they nicked a German train?
