I know it wasnt a major issue, but in the future, for a better chrome or metallic finish use a gloss black as the undercoat. So Primer / Gloss Black / Metallic or Chrome Youll wind up with a much better end look.

When painting anything chrome first primer, then sand until you have a very smooth surface, then gloss black, then chrome, then two coats of clear minimum
I cannot overstate how much I appreciate that you guys show us the mistakes as you go. It’s so real and makes me feel more comfortable when I mess up in the garage.
