alright so idk where people got the idea that if you drop it its done, but agv, arai, bell, and shoei all say that dropping your helmet one or two times from waist height will not effect its safety rating

You buy a good quality piece of equipment that is built to be damaged and you protect it with your life while it is protecting you with its life, that doesn't make any sense. Get a cheaper helmet if you don't want to drop the expensive one
