it works for a tiny but of numbers
(109)^2 = 10[10(109 + 9) + 8] + 1 = 10[10(118) + 8] + 1 = 100(118) + 80 + 1 = 11,800 + 81 = 11,881

School
Clear 🎉
109²=(100+9)²=100²+2(100*9)+9²=10000+1800+81=11881
📟 calculator:"What about me?"
The YouTube method is more like infinite methods, one for every single number
Would that work for numbers ending in 0? And how?
And the school method here is also sped up 😢
(109-9)(109+9) +9^2= 100*118+81 = 11881 (it's the difference of two squares plus the difference squared)
(100+9)^2 = 100,00 + 1800 + 81 = 11881 is much quicker.
Second way I know instantly.
YT method might not always work... Just use the method you are used to
That's a clear example of why you shouldn't pay attention to what's said on YouTube.
I'm looking at both and I'm amazed and confused. Maybe it's because I haven't done math in so long...at least math like that.
Apply (a+b)2= a2+2ab+b2, so (100+9)2 10000+(2.100.9)+81=11881
where is the why?
это же в уме считается за 3 сек
Funziona solo per quella tipologia numeri, attenzione con YouTube ! 😢
