How Quantum Mechanics Rewrites The Laws Of The Universe

Education

Jim Al-Khalili walks us through the unexpected marriage between order and chaos, exploring the work behind Alan Turing to the theory behind the Mandelbrot set. We take a look at morphogenesis and self-organisation to give reason behind the randomness in our universe. How do the cells in a body know whether to create skin or an eye? From the dappled spots on a cow, the ripples in sand dunes, to the structure of the universe, this documentary looks at the science behind chaos and how the complexity of our universe stems from simple rules repeated over and over again. Welcome to Progress - the home of engineering marvels, space exploration and history's greatest inventions. This would be a lot easier to watch if you weren't constantly pointing the camera at the sun or pointing lights directly at the camera

2.53 is the answer to Life, The Universe, and Everything. So, Einstein was wrong. Which i can accept, grudgingly. But this also means Douglas Adams was not only wrong but wrong by 37.47. Which sounds like a lot. A lot of WHAT, we don't know. But that's okay. It doesn't pay to ask too many questions, or I'll end up running into further disappointments. Edit: My math was wrong and Adams was even more wrong than i first feared: 39.47.

Genesis 1:1: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. So, according to the Bible, there was nothing, then everything that exists was created with order, then at some point in time, everything went back to disorder. Then God intervened again and everything went back to order. Now, everything is in the process of going into disorder over time. Then, according to the Bible, at some given time in the future, there will be a new heaven and a new earth where everything will be put back in order again. Think about it, Evolution claims that everything somehow on its own, went from disorder to order, which according to quantum mechanics is impossible. But, according to the Bible, there is a higher power that is needed to put everything back in order again.

Quantum mechanics doesn’t destroy classical physics ,it extends it.

Wrong, the moon exists when we're not looking, the tides still come in and out ~twice a day.
