I was at the stadium when my team (Atalanta) played in Como. I think that game summarises their strengths and weaknesses: in the first half, they easily dominated the game thanks to a high-press structure that isn't that common in Italy (yet); in the second half, their poor defending on through balls allowed us to take the three points. I would like it if Fabregas were considered as a possible candidate for our manager position once Gasperini leaves, but I fear that Como's project is big enough to convince him to stay.

I think the best modern manager will have to be whoever is best able to juggle the balance between being a classical music conductor who guides specific roles and tasks for each player and a jazz improvisation band leader where creative chaos is the goal. 😊

As a barca fan, his tactics are similar to that of Hansi flick. There are certain principle structures in place but there is no strict positional play, the players especially in the attacking and midfield area are free to interpret the game and occupy spaces themselves and there is a lot of combinations and attacks through the middle

I am a very big fan of fabregas! A players with a good vision on the pitch, I knew he would bring that vision into coaching

I can see a lot inspiration from Hansi Flick, and Arsene Wenger mainly. Only difference is that Wenger's CMs and CDMs during successful era where Vieira, Gilberto, Petit etc whom can control the game both offensively and defensively.

This is where Arteta can improve Arsenal. Ironically Arteta and Fabregas had similar playing styles to their coaching styles - Arteta being more rigid and tactic, Fabregas being more fluid and creative
