There's an understandable, and still rather strange underappreciation of Djokovic's skill level. His technique is a large part of his success, especially after he had to find ways to remain competitive after 30. The serve, and volley, and forehand post-2020 are all easy examples to cite. And all that is on top of his grit. Absolute giant of the game.

For a famous and experienced coach, he has some pretty horrible takes. He keeps saying that the newer generation is better and more technical even though Djokovic just beat Sinner a few months back. Also the fact that their level is much higher than that of Nadal and Federer is just laughable. Players adapt and learn to rise to the occasion. Novak has no opponents other than Alcaraz and Sinner. His declining speed is what gets to him but technically they have nothing on him. The Big 3 are a special breed. Never deal them out.
