one of the craziest matches ive seen in a long time. Incredibly high level battle, clash of generations, both pushed to their physical and mental limits. props to Djokovic for being able to do this at 39...there are no words. Congrats to Fonseca for the amazing win, especially off the back of a previous 5 setter with a 3 set comeback.

I've never seen anyone, at 5-5 in the final set, breaking Djokovic with 3 wonderful drop shots - and then winning the last 3 points with 3 aces. Fonseca is my new hero.

I thought Fonseca would crack under pressure at the end. I thought Novak would crumble mid 5th set under fatigue. I was wrong on both counts. Epic nerves of steel from the youngster, and Novak, what can we say, probably the best athlete in the history of sports. To play this level of tennis at 39... hats off.
