False 9 is very devastating until you have a killer player like casemereo
For me itโs False 9 or number ten
Missed inverted full back, false 6 (John Stones, Zinchenko, Trent in the 22/23 season)
A pity you didn't mention classic number 10's like Roberto Baggio, Maradona, even Rivaldo,
Fluid rotational positional play is the most difficult to defend against and probably the most challenging to implement because players must change the way the see and read the game, from how they will get the ball (selfish) to hiw to create spaces for a teammate to receive the ball. Upon receiving the ball each player should have already decided on the next execution. Beautiful football for the spectator and exhausting for the defence. PSG is a better example than Man City. To implement this you start with an aligned recruitment policy. This means the coach must be given time to replace the visionless players with visionedand skilled players. So the tactic starts with the Board of Directors. I have another close relative of fluid rotational play which is designed to systematically break down low blocks. 1st of all, Tactics must be informed by the ever changing game state and not by the coaches preferences. I have been watching Arsenal getting stuck with low blocks to the point I can visualize the concave pattern created by all the passes skirting the penalty box, with less than 1% of the passes going into the penalty box. So! How does one break down the low block. By creating continuous chaotic horizontal movement by the strikers in the penalty box! No attacking player is allowed to go and stand in the penalty box waiting for the ball to come to them so they can control the ball turn and score. That is primary school football. If Arsenal fix this the next decade belongs to them. I hope Artetas is subscribed to this channel. Another form of lethal attack is continuous possession of the ball without letting the opposition any control. This is particularly important in close out games in the last 20minutes when most of the opposition are tired, then you turn up the heat. This will exhaust them into submission, thus creating more scoring opportunities. The last time I saw this in execution was a Euros Finals match where Portugal (Figos) came back from a 2-0 deficit against England, got to 3-2, thereafter England never got sight of the ball. This needs to be rehearsed so that the collective IQ (love that phrase) becomes elite execution. You practice is against weak team for execution against better teams. Arsenal dropped a 2 goals and two points against a lousy Wolves team because the allowed Wolves excessive passes per defensive action until Wolves regained their belief and scored two goals. Arsenal could have won the league two weeks ago. They are going to need this continuous possession of the ball to close a big Uefa Champions League Final against a better fluid rotational positional play team in PSG. They should have been rehearsing this tactic against Wolves, Burnley, West ham, Spurs, etc. Collective IQ is The Key!
I find positional play the deadliest attacking tactics. It gets harder once the team with this tactics score. These teams pass the ball around other team and they can't do anything about it. And once you step out of your postion because of the frustration, one through ball and goal. This tactic plays with opponent's emotion.
make a defencive tactic video like this
funny how pep is a huge face front in the world of tactical football. truly the goat
W video bro liked wvery tactic my fav one was the trequartista and gegenpressing and through ball. Thanks for the info! And the 3rd man tactic can also be called tiki taka right
Obviously the no. 10 because if it is executed perfectly you have no chance unless the gk saves tha shot
best goal
A mix of fluid positional rotations and false 9
nice
Defending tactics;
Through ball attacking
I think you misunderstood the difference between strategy and tactics
Almost every system here is executable in Sega's Football Manager.
Who's here to get notes for efootball
