I currently own a 2024 Ford ranger XLT. I previously owned two Nissan frontiers and two Toyota tacomas and a Jeep gladiator. My 24 Ford ranger is my favorite out of all of them.
I own a 2025 XLT and love it. Recently took a 400 mile road trip and got 26.5 mpg with a weighted bed hauling over 300lbs of gear. Even my wife likes driving it from time to time. This truck fits the bill in many ways for me and my family!
like all the F series trucks, i still have my 2016 F150 2.7 eco boost just oil change still running strong and reliable 👍
Drove this and a new frontier, preferred the V6 and smoother transmission. This was a close second, wasnt impressed with a colorado or tacoma, especially with the crazy tacoma price.
Id like to see it with a normally aspirated V6. I don’t like turbos for long term reliability.
I bought a 2025 XLT FX4 2.3 Ranger and love it
I bought the same exact truck in Shadow Black. I got the optional side steps and carpeted floor as only options. With Ford employee pricing and a military/first responder rebate, I apid $35,800. Not a bad value for a 4x4 truck with a warranty these days.plus with high gas prices I can get 27.5 mpg highway . The Ranger was named Edmunds 2025 Truck of the Year.

The Nissan Frontier can be ordered with a 6 foot bed. I think the Jeep Gladiator has more rear seat room.

My 2022 is FBO with Procal tune. It absolutely rips, low 13s in the 1/4 all day.
Great vid! I love this new Ranger and hear nothing but good about it. Wish they made a longer wheelbase with a 6' bed.

The heat from the turbo will destroy the computer. I would put a 4.0 Litre inline six cylinder motor and offer a six speed manual transmission as an option. The bed needs a plastic bed liner.
The front and side crash ratings are both 5-star! Better than the 4runner and the Frontier!
