BMW iX3 review: https://www.electrifying.com/reviews/bmw-reviews/ix3-neue-klasse/review Audi Q6 e-tron review: https://www.electrifying.com/reviews/audi-reviews/q6-e-tron-2/review It’s time for a proper electric SUV showdown. In this head-to-head, Nicola Hume and Batch put two of the most important new EVs to the test: the all-new BMW iX3 and the Audi Q6 e-tron. These aren’t just any electric SUVs, they represent the next generation of EV tech from two of Germany’s biggest brands. The Audi brings cutting-edge design, serious performance and the brand’s latest PPE platform. But BMW is making some big claims with the new iX3, promising improved efficiency, range and driving dynamics that could move the game on. So which one actually delivers? Nicola and Batch dive into everything that matters: design, interior quality, tech, practicality, range, charging and — crucially — how they drive. Along the way, they break down the strengths and weaknesses of each car to help you decide which one deserves a spot on your shortlist. Is the BMW iX3 the new benchmark for electric SUVs? Or does the Audi Q6 e-tron still have the edge? This was a great comparison of two excellent cars. One important thing to note, though, is that the Audi shown here appears to be the 2025 Q6, not the 2026 version. That matters, because viewers should be aware of a few differences that were not mentioned in the video: - The 2026 Q6 quattro has significantly more power - The Q6 is available with air suspension, including height adjustment and adaptive dampers. This one seems to have the standard steel suspension. Many buyers choose the air suspension, and it makes a big difference. iX3 does not offers adaptive dampers or Air suspension. Need to move to iX to get that. - The 2026 Q6 has a black grille, not a body-colored one - The Q6 offers massaging seats and ventilated seats, which the iX3 does not - The 2026 Q6 also has one-pedal driving and can come to a full stop without using the friction brakes in normal driving Still a very interesting comparison, but I think these points are worth mentioning so viewers get a more complete picture.
Can we pleeeease get metric numbers as well?
It's funny how journalists have been ripping VW for no buttons and everything in the touchscreen, but with BMW it's "how often do you change the temperature anyway?".
Came for the cars (boring after having watchend so much content about them) stayed for the entertainment :)
I see Nicola, I click :) Their tag team interaction is always hilarious no matter which style, keep it up guys... One of the most freshest enjoyable YouTube videos right now
My 2025 Q6 has been in the shop 3 times, twice for 3+ weeks. The software and electronics each time. Can’t wait for my lease to be up.
Miss Hulme, Mr Batchelor; See me afterwards for being silly in a video. 😂
These two are excellent together. Great review
Its amazing how EVs go from ground breaking to obsolete tech in 18 months
I'm going to start a GoFundMe to get Batch some therapy session to allow him to recover from the abuse 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Great video, guys.
18:28 Batchelor barely kept a straight face 😂😂😂
GLC vs iX3 next.
Wish BMW still offered the I-drive rotary knob as an option
I love the interior of the BMW
Nicola, I hate that everything is in the screen on the Polestar4 (recent video). BMW everything is now in the screen, which I quite like...I love the consistency....
Love you two together Even if I don’t like the cars you make it interesting. Well done
Q6 looks more stylish.
16:14 is comedy gold 🤣 genuine reaction telling us it’s fast - these 2 give me top gear vibes. Keep the content coming
“The right amount of tooth in a car”… said no-one ever… until now! 😂
I’ve seen so many reviewers agree with you about the passenger screen. I imagine the presence of the screen doesn’t necessarily restrict the passenger from interacting with the driver. For me, it presents as an enhancement similar to things like massaging seats or ambient lighting. You’re not not obligated to use them but if you feel they’ll add to your experience, you’re welcome to try them. I love that iX3 12/6 steering wheel. I don’t think either of these vehicles are particularly handsome but I’m drawn to the looks of the IX3 just slightly more. I much prefer the styling of the R2 and the GLC-E. Ideally I would like to see Audi add at least 100 miles more range to be competitive. Thanks for the funny and enjoyable review 👌
