Ferrari has officially entered the electric era with the global debut of the Luce, a revolutionary quad-motor super-sedan pushing a massive 772kW and 990Nm to all four wheels. Penned by the legendary design team LoveFrom—led by Sir Jony Ive and Marc Newson—this bold five-seater completely redefines the Prancing Horse with an uninterrupted glasshouse silhouette and a high-tech interior. Destined for Australia with an expected price tag north of $730,000, we dive into whether this silent, F1-derived hyper-saloon is still a true Ferrari. The journalists must sound enthusiastic otherwise they won’t be invited to future launches.
It looks like a BYD.
rip Ferrari
It is a talent, making it looks like 135hp.
Ok, the Kia Tasman doesn’t look so bad now…..
In the early 1990s I would regularly go into Ferrari of Manhattan to ogle an F40 that was in the showroom. I was a student at nearby NYU Med and it had an astounding to me sticker price of 400k. If you had told me then that some thirty years later Ferrari would make a 600k plus car that I would literally have zero interest in I would never have believed you. So sad.
byd can produce this and sell it at 1/20 price.
An iPhone designer designing a Ferrari. What could possibly go wrong. In my opinion, it looks awful inside and out.
… a little bit late for an April 1st joke isn’t it?
Art doesn’t need explanations. When you have to explain it, it’s not art.
In blue looks like the Nissan Leaf, with the front face of the Jeep Avenger.
In fairness, not a bad looking Honda. Light pastel blue isn't helping it either
Se remover as logo e símbolos da Ferrari e colocar BYD ninguém iria reparar.
Disaster..
The interior is phenomenal, but the exterior?! I'm trying sooooooo hard to like it cause after the monstrosity that is the new AMG EV I had lost all hope, but now oh my god, I honestly don't know which one is worse?!?!? I'm sure we can now all agree and re-apreciate how beautiful and what a masterpiece in design the Taycan is! 🤷🏾♂️
Just bring back the GTC4 Lusso and turn it into a 4 door EV wagon at this point 😔
oh My god
As someone who studied design, you can tell it was designed by someone who doesn't do cars, or at least, it seems that way. Ferrari are known for their image as sleek, sporty, rare, lustful. They are making plenty of money so why they have strayed into this market I'm not sure. The exterior, although subjective, genuinely looks like a large £30k+ Honda E big brother spin-off... except Honda would probably do a better job. Despite the comments in the video, it still just looks like screens stuck everywhere that look out of place instead of nicely flowing into the dash with style.. and that pivoting centre screen... do you know the little pivoting bar that holds the payment machine at supermarket self-checkouts?... thats what it looks like and the feeling it gives off. If you buy this do NOT claim you own a Ferrari, as you simply don't. If you pay half a million for this you are mad. It doesn't even look £100k let alone more. Perception is key here... 'what am I getting for my money?'... it seems a jellymould 'fridge' with stuck on screens inside. It actually makes that 4x4 purosangy thing look like a Ferrari despite it being terrible looking. Be interesting to see the sales on this in future and you are right.. it won't be Ferrari buyers...
Based on the exterior design, it is not attractive at all. It looks completely boring.
Under the skin, it might be impressive unfortunately the skin is unimpressively ugly.
