https://turnpike.global First we showed you the launch party of Forza Horizon 6 held in the heart of Shibuya a little over a month back, this time I’m back with the crew all the way over in the UK! To celebrate the launch of the much anticipated game, the guys from Playground games organized a massive celebration of all things JDM at the British Motor Museum in what can only be described as the UK’s “Motor Valley.” It was incredible being back in the UK after so long but even more so witnessing what Japanese car culture is all about over in this corner of the world. On top of more than 200 cars they even had a drift exhibition area, a fun day out under some unusually hot weather. If things got too hot outside, the museum itself served up an impressive array of some of the UK’s most important cars, all sorts of vehicles that I had never seen up close. The cherry on the top was the Forza Horizon 6 area, a curated selection of cars that appear in the game and the chance to play and experience the game either using a controller or on proper rig set ups! So glad to see a good look at cars of the UK. Sometimes I feel like we get a bad wrap thanks to all the obnoxious Fiesta’s and other hatchbacks like them, and I feel that things like that make it so we’re underrepresented on the global stage when it comes to car culture. I’d love to see you and Larry cover more of the UK’s car culture outside of official events like this and Goodwood. I want to be proven wrong about our image and see that there are loads of respectful meets that have a wide variety of cars to see

Awesome to see you cover a bit of the UK JDM scene. I think sometimes it's forgotten just how big it was at one point during the mid 2000s...the UK was just grabbing all types of random JDM 4 wheel goodness and bringing it over. There was a time a Nissan Figaro was just as sought after to import as an Evo 6!

While I'm glad you came to the UK and I love your channel I've got to say I'm not so hyped that you featured every make and model of JDM car that was present EXCEPT an RX 8 which was in shot for maybe 1.5 seconds aaaannnnnd skipped. But still I really liked the 10 or so RX7 and RX7 FDs you managed to include.
