I have to say something baseline here about the first guy: I feel like it is rarely a good idea to talk about the fact that you're doing jokes/comedy while you are doing comedy. The illusion of stand up is that you're listening to someone just talk and tell you stories. The trick is that the "jokes" are usually either presented as monologue or sprinkled throughout storytelling. You acknowledging the fact that you're performing written material for them completely shatters the illusion and is always a bad idea. Even if the jokes were good, it is far less likely that someone will laugh when they know you're trying to make them laugh. The audience shouldn't feel like you're reciting something you wrote. This dude reminded them so many times 😂

The "nows my chance" girl doesn't belong in this video. That was actually not bad stand up. It didn't make me laugh, but I smiled. Her timing and delivery were solid.
