Chaos From Social Experiment Where Kids Live Alone

I would NEVER even think to destroy anything, just how I was raised. These parents need some help if their children act like that.

The girls version of the experiment was very interesting instead of fracturing the group into bullies and quite responsible kids. The girls moved their beds all into one room and stayed as a single group for the most part. The house didn't fall apart and people naturally assumed leadership and care taker roles. And because they knew how to feed themselves with real food everyone didn't go crazy immediately. But then the emotional manipulation started and it was so sad to see them withdrawing from the group and then leaving. Although overall they seemed to have a nicer time. It was very interesting how the different group handled conflict and their differences. And says a lot about how society raises boys as boys, but girls are raised to be women. And that mindset gets imprinted at a very young age.

Those aint normal kids those are the naighbours kids 💀💀 they were just clearly not taught well.

In the girls one, the girls all stick together and it’s basically one big sleepover and it’s kind of sweet. The boys look like they need therapy

There was 1 boy in this show who would clean the dishes every day and wanted to just go back home

I swear they found the most chaotic kids possible for this lmao

The saddest part is that with the girls one of them was so stressed out caring for everyone, cleaning, cooking, and trying to navigate the chaos that she had to leave. Its honestly really heartbreaking to see a kid cry because they got broken by stress

Personal theory: the reason why every child there is misbehaved is because they could only get the parents who didn’t care as much as their kids to volunteer them

It's obvious they specifically chose bad, or ill mannered kids. At 12 I would never, even by myself to a house I was told I could destroy, go crazy like they did.

I watched the full video and after a while thay got their shit together, cleaned up and started acting responsible.

I feel like it's important to note that all the kids received lessons in cooking and cleaning beforehand the boys just decided not to

Friendly reminder that we already had an ACTUAL real life _Lord of the Flies_ scenario take place, and the boys involved formed a collaborative supportive framework that kept them all hale and hearty until they were eventually rescued from the island. Only one major injury occurred during the whole year and change that they were on their own. One of the boys slipped on a cliff and broke his leg. The others climbed down after him, somehow helped him back up, and then diligently looked after him as he healed. By the time the 6 were rescued, he had already made a full and flawless recovery. Don't get me wrong: I'm entirely of the opinion that people are born pricks by nature. That said, nurture counts for a hell of a lot. Raise your kids to be worth something, for their sake and everyone else's too.

Pick some children with good parents. This could’ve gone way differently.

I believe this is mainly because they were probably told that there are no rules. A better experiment would have been to have a set of rules posted somewhere, and see how well they followed them with no supervision. If you throw a bunch of kids in a house and say "go wild," of course they gonna act up. Parents don't make a difference, parenting does. I'm sure some of these kids act the same at home. Some probably don't and was just letting off some steam.
