You've reached the end
How are they comparable? One was always there for me, a shoulder to cry on, provided me comfort during the worst times of my life. The other was a sperm donor.
Well thats not how I expected that to go 😂
Wait.......... As a dog person I was like ok I understand yes losing a parent is different. Then the ending came and I was like well sheetttt okay cool 😅
Literally told someone I suffered a miscarriage and then they went off and tried comparing it to when their "fur baby" had ran away (their dog had already been found btw). Never spoke to that person ever again.
I stopped being friends with someone because she said I wasn't sympathetic enough that her dog was diagnosed with Cushings. It was the same day my dad died. Literally not comparable.
Me having to explain this to people when they say sorry for your loss lmao
As a psych NP I will tell you why people normally do this. Many struggle to know what to say during a loss and want to seem empathetic. But to provide empathy you need to be able to relate in some way, if they have never suffered a loss so great this maybe the closet tget can come, and they do realize that by trying to relate they are being offensive.
It's like when my dad's oldest cousin died. I literally didn't care that man died
My beloved cat who has a part of my soul in her died a few years ago and still every night I tell her good night and I say it differently every night so that she knows I'm not doing it out of routine but that I'm actually thinking of her. People love to act like it's not the same thing when your animal vs your people die but you're so right it's about the bond you had not the species they are. I don't think I'd do all that for my father. Love him but he's just a weird guy and not as close to me as my little kitty. Miss you so much Bonnie
LMFAOOOO bro WHAT. Who are you, why are you in my head?
I know that when my dad got hospitalised with covid, I mostly worried about HIS dog and cats. That man could die tomorrow and I wouldn't really give a shit.
They must not know the Lore.
For some reason I had a feeling that was coming
For me, i had very had pets so like- but like my dad died when I was 5 so I can relate man Not expected the ending lolz
is this a dance moms reference?? 😍
AHAHAHAHAHA I didn’t expect that AT ALL… xD
Oddly enough I had the opposite happen and I still thought that was weird af
You know what, same
Well thats exactly how i expected this to go knowing you
People on the internet like to make EVERYTHING about them. Literally doesn't matter what they watch or hear from someone else, it'll be a comment about THEM.
