These stories are hard work.
He should have called the police as soon as Nathan went to the landlord. File forgery, identity theft and harassment. Contact a lawyer and file for a restraining order. How was Nathan going to pay rent if he did get the apartment transferred into his name? Why didn't he move in with his parents? Force the sale of the house and take what's yours. If his parents were smart, they would have done all the illegal stuff without ever talking to him. Therefore, he wouldn't have known anything about the inheritance. That was pure stupidity on their part.
To actually write "are you happy now" on the table just to have it in the photo to send it to op. Definitely proved that their narcissists. Ones that can't stand that they didn't get their way and blame op for them facing consequences. Completely disregarding the fact that they were in the wrong and tried to take everything away from op to give it to their favorite son. All because they believed that everything op had should be their favorite son's.
Why would you let them in fool
So the family are more than happy to go to such lengths to try and take OP'S home. But they aren't willing to take the far easier path of getting their golden child an apartment of his own instead?
Make sure they understand NO MEANS NO. TONY SOPRANO STYLE When Tony said no.... and you continue... well things would happen. Let him break in then it is fair game. DEAD AS A DOOR NAIL>
What’s wrong with the parents house? Why do these parent think they could just move siblings into each other houses? Crazy.

Where's the rooms in the house they grew up in? Go live there.
what a crap ending !
I don't understand all the trouble the parents went through to get his apartment if they were going to give their house to the brother anyway.
get a restraining order
Why would he need to change his locks, it was not like they had keys in the first place😮
Time for new locks and CCTV cameras, this OP is doing everything right, but he really should show the attempted break-in to the police, phone police and ask them to do a wellness visit?
