0 seconds ago The Amazon/Bond thing is an absolute classic case of a corpo suit not understanding why something is successful. IO Interactive was perfectly positioned to make a Bond game. If you have some random Amazon Games studio make the next Bond game it’s going to be awful.

We all saw the writing on the wall with Sony pushing live service games. The only one that was delusional about it was the former CEO and now Sony is paying for it.
It makes sense that Sony is selling less first party software this gen. Not only are they more expensive and they're making less of them, but they're also just not exciting games. Sony's big first party titles have all been sequels, there's nothing really new from them. Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima and Spider-Man were new games on the PS4, and those studios all just made that same game but "bigger" this gen. It's just boring.
Is it really surprising that PS first party sales are low? PS has only released sequels that are very similar to previous games at a higher price tag at $70. They haven’t released anything truly new this generation.
Sony has had a steep decline and it’s only gonna get worse from here with how slow their games are being released and how generic they are.

Congrats on FF7 Rebirth on Switch 2... not likely to get it right away cuz I still haven't finished FF7Remake, but it looks pretty decent given most people felt it could never run, period, on the Switch 2 at all.
The reason why Nintendo hasn’t made an announcement for the June Direct is ‘cause they can only let us know via tweet 30 minutes before it happens.
Sony hasn't really been focusing on making cool and fun games. No one ever wanted live service crap, forknife has always been lame to the core videogame audience
Another thing that is absolutely destroying Sony from where I am sitting is they are losing third party exclusives. I don't even play their first parties much and can live without them, and it's going to start to become easy for me to eat the higher PC price if I sit out the PS6 which looks increasingly likely.
