One upgrade I don't hear often is ergonomics. A good seat, with a desk at the right height and a monitor at the right angle and distance will set your body up to do insane movements that you didn't even know you were capable of. If you can aim from the shoulder, your arm starts to feel like a mechanical arm (this is also correct drawing technique). Optimal monitor distance is a function of your optical prescription too, so getting an eye test is also a bit of an upgrade haha, I don't need glasses but I still have a slight prescription which means the monitor should be further away than if I wore glasses, and the difference on eye fatigue is noticeable.

10:25 yes but not for audio, they often use expensive iems under the headset, and mainly use the hyperx for mic. At least in counter strike.

10:00 the problem with audio, especially in gaming, is that its latency will be held back by both the game itself and windows for as long as we don't switch to a low-latency alternative like pipewire on linux, or until we get an ASIO implementation inside games (which will pretty much never happen).

6:18 top level tracers arent training to track the head, they actually track the neck/shoulder area because it results in more overall dps/headshots with her spread pattern. different than on characters like soldier who do benefit from head tracking. just wanted to mention since no one wants to load up vaxta just to grind bad habits 👍

I've had my monsgeek for about a year or 2 now, I got it when I was still playing fortnite at a sweaty level, and the jump from my laptop keyboard to the fun60pro is HUGE, the HE switches are really nice, though they don't sound great, and the software has recently been turned into web and they added all sorts of wooting level features with suspiciously similar naming schemes to, so it's still holding up, but sometimes I wish I had a kisnt lying around just for the sound upgrade.

for mouse, *always* prioritize the shape in my opinion. yes specs are pretty important, but for me i cant really tell the difference between high end sensors and budget mice (never go below paw 3311 tho)
