She should be ok to go to the bathroom in the backyard! High traffic dog/animal areas are more of a concern. Puppy pads are good in a pinch, but it’s hard to break them from going inside if they are consistently be used :)

As long as sunny has her vaccines and you’re not leaving her alone outside, she should be fine using the bathroom in the yard. The yard is better and will help with potty training, Also for my dog when she was a puppy after she used the bathroom i always gave her a treat and that really worked for her training so maybe that can help with stopping her peeing on your bed lol. My dogs 6 years old now, she doesn’t use any pads in the house nor does she have accidents in the house. The teething phase is like their terrible twos 😅 it had me rethinking my life lol but all you gotta do is pull through and get LOTS of toys🙏 you got this.
