A car should never take that long to be repaired. I would give it back after one week and get a more reliable model from the brand or different. I’ve had bad luck with 3 new vehicles in a row so don’t feel bad!

I sell on EBay, but I’ve been thinking about selling on Depopp. Would like your thoughts on any issues you’ve had.

For shipping packages, pirateship is sooooo helpful!!! They’re prices are super great and you can print the labels right at home

Was just going to say hit up the BBB but I see the comments have lead you in the right direction. There’s a creator named Sacha fierce I believe that spoke of her truck issues and she’s contacted Chevy and the BBB on them. You have to get on them especially since your source of income is travel based. You’re being charged for the inconvenience of them keeping your car for 2 months with maintenance that’s obviously a sign of a lemon. Stay on their ass because that owe you for a number of things including infringing on your lively hood. How are you able to make payments im sure they still want on that car and then try to penalize you for working??? Crazy

Ford dealership did the same to me but they had my vehicle for 11 months. I kept up with my payments, I had a loaner for the first 3 months then the rest I had nothing. Up till the day I got my vehicle back until 3-4months later we moved across the ocean and then the same things happened to my vehicle. Took it to a ford dealership where we lived and come to find out all the problems that was supposed to be fixed weren’t done. So we were using a broken unsafe vehicle. πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈ I contacted the BBB and made a report on this specific location.

Not the same scenario, but when I had to switch my title/registration to a new state after moving, my lender took FOREVER to send the tag agency the docs they needed. I kept having to get temp tags and the agency only allowed 3. After multiple follow-ups, I told the lender they have put me in a position where I can’t even use the car I’m making payments on bc I can’t get a proper tag to drive it legally due to their delays (they blamed a 3rd party processor they use; whatever, not MY problem). I told them they need to cover one of my monthly payments due to loss of use, and they did! You should definitely try this with the dealership (or the lender if it’s Toyota financing)!

Definitely agree with other posters to look into the lemon laws in your state. I was able to threaten a lemon to Mercedes-Benz after a custom car that I got was in the shop for almost 2 months for different things that started that night. I took the car home. I contacted Mercedes-Benz add the suggestion of one of the salesman that I’m familiar with at the dealership. I did tell them that I was thinking of contacting a lemon law attorney to lemon my car. They returned all of the payments back to me plus the oil changes and the down payment. I decided to steer away from luxury cars after having Mercedes for several years and bought a Honda CRV 2025 hybrid. It’s the best decision I ever made. I love this car and I don’t miss the Mercedes at all. Definitely google lemon law in Delaware. I’m in California so every state is different. California is pretty generous and has more protections for consumers than for dealers.
