There is no way the FIA asked the team to tell Liam to give the spot back.
If it was any other team there is no way racing bulls would have asked lawson to return the place. This is the problem with sister teams in f1.

I’m not a Max fan but I do like the guy. With that being said, I really dislike how he races sometimes, exactly like he doesn’t give a damn. And I get the rest of the field likes to race competitively but with respect, but when you encounter the only guy in the field that loves to bully you around, you shouldn’t take it. Hell! I know I wouldn’t take it, if he did this crap against me, we both end up in the barriers, he ain’t going to bully me around. I would race everyone else clean with respect except Max, not going to lie. Max comes in my mirrors or I have him in front of me, either way I’ll bully the crap out of him too!

I don’t even think the FIA was penalizing Liam Lawson. I just think it was the Sister team of Red Bull, telling Liam Lawson to give back the position to the main Red Bull driver of Verstappen.

Verstappen still driving dirty forcing other drivers off track and even has the nerve to blame them.
The start of the race he was doing everything he could to make positions up. He did have some good overtakes after his pit stop, but he looked like he was trying to kill people those first 10 laps.
Well, so now the one getting pushed need to give back the position? I am max fan but come on, he force lawson out of track, and if I'm not mistaken the other party was not asked to give the position back at that time... So did the rule change or what?
