Yes... There's a limited amount that is allowed in cash to bring through immigration when traveling and not just in Jamaica either. USA Canada etc ...

USD 10,000 or more by law can be seized by customs, in any country that you are traveling to, while we understand that it may not much, the fact remains that can be seized.

Vids like this and lawyers in particular should cite the law (probably the Proceeds of Crime Act in this case) that the customs or the authorities were using to justify their actions, so the public doesnt assume its up to each agent to decide what they want to do. You can bring in however much you want, so long as u declare it and can prove it came from a legal source.
