You've reached the end
Sackwashskaskwon 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I always love the creativity with that name.
I love how instead of saying "3,500 km", he said 5 day trip. Only Canadians tell distance by Time.
Not me fact checking the hotdogs to 3500km conversion and finding out just how close you were
This Canadian needs a holiday FROM the USA!
I worked a hotel front desk in Vancouver and once had a group of ladies from Atlanta with an extra day to fill before their Alaska cruise. They wanted to rent a car to go to Toronto for a day. Told them that was not going to happen, so they said “what about Alaska?” and I explained that they could drive to Mexico quicker.
Ive had this exact same conversation with a British friend visiting the US. He thought he could day trip Vegas from NY.
Sackwashskaskwon resident here. jokes aside I've been trained to speedrunning the spelling verbally
My dad used to work as a customs officer. He’d get Europeans coming up from the US wanting to visit Quebec City, Toronto and Niagara in 3 days. He’d tell them they better step on it and not plan any stops if they wanted to go to all those places. No concept of just how large this country is.
"Give or take a few weiners" 😂😂😂LMFAOOOO
When I worked at the Calgary Science Centre some German tourists said they wanted to rent a car and go for a day trip to Toronto. When I told them the distance the look I got. 😅
Selling Venezuela had me 🤣
Love it! My dad was an immigration officer from the late 40's or early 50's I think until the early 80's. He told me of a time when customs referred a couple to him. They crossed over somewhere around Niagara area and stated they wanted to head over to Newfoundland for a late breakfast, head across to Vancouver for lunch and figured they would be back about dinner time. 😂
No, but seriously, you should do a poll to find out who can spell "sacks and catch a swan" correctly.
Had that convo here in Australia - no Sir you cant just pop over to Perth "on the way through" its thousands on km's away on the other coastline of the CONTINENT of Australia
What's so hard about spelling my province's name? I mean come on! Saskathch..Saskatchw....Saskatchewan! See?? Not THAT hard! lol
This is so funny and so true
Lol. My family is from the Kingston ontario area and we drove to Vancouver...the longest part of the trip was just getting out of ontario
I was in Kelowna BC one summer and I met these German chaps that had spent all morning driving from Vancouver and they got a map of Canada and wanted to know where they were because tomorrow they had a flight to germany flying out of Toronto. Their shocked faced when I pointed to the middle of BC and told them it was impossible to make their flight driving. Told them to go to the airport and see if they could book a flight because that was the only way they could get to Toronto in time. When I told them that Canada was like 97% the size of Europe from Portugal to the ural mountains, Europe not the Eu but all of Europe. They looked at me as if i was drunk.
I work Retail in Nova Scotia and last summer I had a couple from Main that came up to vist Annapolis Royal because their friends who visited a few years ago went to a German Bakery and loved it. I had to tell them they were about two hours away in a different town.
