People like this lady are the reason why I, a struggling uni student, can't afford collector items even when I really want them. I collect Taylor Swift merch, Monster High dolls, Disney stuff (mostly plushes and dolls) & Looney Tunes stuff (again, mostly plushes, ornaments & action figures). Like, when the Monster High Haunt Couture line came out, I really wanted the Draculaura one given that she's always been my favorite character. However on release time, I ended up in an emergency dental appointment. When I came home, it was already sold out. It pmo cause I could've afford it at face value (80$), but resellers are selling it for 1 000$-1 500$, which is completely unaffordable. Same for the Creeproduction line. I managed to score Draculaura at my local Walmart for between 40$ and 50$. I'm trying to get Clawdeen and Frankie... people are reselling them for more than 200$.😒 I got scammed 3 times trying to purchase some Taylor Swift merch too (it's a guitar ornament that plays the song Mine, since it's rare people are selling it for a crazy price as well, I saw some for more than 500$ when it retailed at around 20$ or 30$ in the 2010s). Same for the Christmas Tree Farm snowglobe. Been wanting to get it for a while, but people are reselling it for more than 1 000$ (when I think the original price was something like 70$).😒
