I know an old fella who used this method to go on a pilgrimage from the UK to the Holy Land on his bike back in the 50s
This is for rally raid, specifically Dakar - not normal rally. In the rally, you have a co-driver who reads pacenotes

No gps but youre allowed to use a gps and print it out early? Only difference is you cant adjust the path if you mess up but how can you when you literally have printed instructions
