DWO organized an awareness rally in Kulgam under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan campaign.

Tanveer Wani Kulgam, May 8: Disabled Persons Welfare Organization Kulgam in collaboration with Humanity Welfare Organization Helpline Bijbehara and Disability Information Centre Kulgam today organized an awareness rally in Kulgam under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan campaign. The rally commenced from Degree College Gate Kulgam and culminated at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office Kulgam. A large number of participants, including specially-abled persons, social activists, volunteers, and local citizens, joined the rally to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of building a drug-free society. Participants raised slogans against drug addiction and appealed to the youth to stay away from narcotics and adopt healthy and constructive activities. The organizers emphasized that collective efforts from all sections of society are essential to eradicate the menace of drugs from the community. The organizers also reiterated their commitment to continue such awareness programmes in future for the welfare and betterment of society.
