Namaste Ji, As part of my street interview series, I asked a simple but very important question: "Where have we failed as a country and as a society when it comes to protecting our girls and women?" It is a question that makes many people uncomfortable. But sometimes uncomfortable questions lead to the most honest conversations. During this discussion, one gentleman shared his thoughts on why incidents related to women's safety continue to happen despite growing awareness, stricter laws, and continuous public debates. His answer was straightforward, thoughtful, and worth listening to. The purpose of creating such content is not to spread fear. It is not to create outrage. And it is certainly not about blaming one group or one individual. The purpose is to start conversations that matter. Because every time a disturbing incident happens, society immediately starts searching for someone to blame. But perhaps there is a deeper question we need to ask ourselves. What values are we teaching the next generation? Are we teaching boys to respect women as equals? Are we teaching children empathy, responsibility, and accountability? Are we creating an environment where dignity and respect become part of everyday life? Many people believe change will come only through stricter laws. Laws are important. Punishment is important. But lasting change begins much earlier. It begins at home. It begins in schools. It begins with the examples children see around them every day. Women do not need special treatment. They deserve basic human respect. They deserve dignity. They deserve freedom. And most importantly, they deserve to feel safe. A society is not judged by how loudly it talks about respect. A society is judged by how consistently it practices it. This conversation is not about politics. It is not about ideology. It is about humanity. Watch this discussion and tell me: Where do you think we are failing as a society? Share your thoughts respectfully in the comments.
