How to Program Subaru Garage Door Opener. Full video here: https://youtu.be/QpWzHUpmJ98 Here's a quick video to show you how to clear our your Subaru homelink and program your garage door with your Subaru homelink mirror. This removes the need for the garage door clicker in your car. How to program your Subaru homelink: 1. Click and hold buttons 1 and 2 on your homelink mirror (this resets your homelink mirror) 2. Clock the button on your homelink mirror that you want to program. At the same time, click and hold the button on your garage door opener that corresponds with the door or gate that you want to set. 3. Your Subaru homelink will flash green once it's been set.

Thank you so much!🎉
Thanks. Work
Can I reprogram button 1 without clearing button two? I have a new opener at my main home, but don't want to clear button two that's set to a different house. Thank you?
If this doesn’t work for anyone, go to your genie door opener and press and hold the SET button until it becomes PURPLE, then go back to your home link button and hold down until it works
I put this off for months because I thought it would be really difficult. Looked up a video and yours was the first that popped up and it literally took me a minute or two to set up 😅 Thank you so much!
I cannot, for the life of me, get this to work. Does it not sync up to a Genie garage door opener?
Doesn't work for me
Thank you
2016 you have to hold the center button and then hold it when it flashes red then hold your controller to your garage and then it will sink
Doesn't work on 2016 models
Thank you! It took less than a minute!
Well it didn’t work for me. Held 1st and 3rd buttons. No flashing orange. No flashing anything! So now I read other comments that said the car has to be turned on in order to program?? Is this true?
Didn't work
Great video! It’s always nice to see tech tools for garage doors getting a spotlight. I’ve been using Workiz for a while now and it’s really helped us keep our scheduling and invoicing on point, which takes a load off our shoulders. Thanks for sharing! 👍
Whew, thanks to this video, finally figured out how to set up homelink after 5 years. As stated by others, my 2020 Subaru Forester has to have the car engine running, or it won't work. In fact, the remote won't work if the car is not running. Also, I have a Lift Master door opener, which has a learn button on it. So holding the remote up to the rear view mirror didn't seem to do anything. The car was in the garage under the garage door opener, so I only had to step up on the door frame to reach, but our garage is not tall. Push the learn button on the back of the garage door opener and then pushed the first button on the mirror. I didn't think it worked at first, but when I tried again, the mirror displayed an arrow going down, which was the direction the door was moving. WARNING, altho you have to have the engine turned on, be careful if it is in the garage. You can really harm yourself if you have the car running with the door closed. This sounds like a something everyone should know, but when you start working on tasks, it is easy to lose track of time.
I don't have a fucking clicker why doesn't anybody show me how to map to the goddamn motor!
But You have to purchase the package with the garage ting 😊😅😮$$$… nevermind. Subaru will always nickel and dime you. It should be standard on premium, sport, limited edition models.
Mine isn’t setting. I’ve tried multiple times. I have a garage door opening app on my phone called MyQ. Is this why it isn’t working? I want to keep MyQ because my garage lights are programmed to come on. My visor is too thick for my garage door opener to clip on. Help!
Mine doesn't do shit. It flashes green but that all that happens
How do you just program one button without clearing ALL of them out?
