Inside the Mackenzie Shirilla Case Body Language, Psychology & the 100 MPH Crash

Education

Backstory: https://youtu.be/N0HxCHcvxTY Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/observeentertainment Membership: https://www.youtube.com/@ObserveYouTube/join Resources/Socials/Credentials: https://linktr.ee/observeyoutube The Mackenzie Shirilla case has divided the public from the very beginning. Was this a reckless high-speed crash caused by emotional instability and adolescent impulsivity… or was it intentional murder? In this video, we conduct a detailed body language and behavioral analysis of Mackenzie Shirilla using interrogation footage, courtroom appearances, interviews, and documented behavioral patterns surrounding the fatal 2022 crash that killed Dominic Russo and Davion Flanagan. This analysis is not designed to “prove guilt” or innocence. Human behavior is extraordinarily complex — especially under trauma, grief, shock, public scrutiny, and criminal accusation. Instead, this video approaches the case methodically, focusing on observable behavioral data while remaining grounded in psychological and forensic context. Before watching, I strongly recommend viewing the full backstory episode first, as understanding the forensic evidence, legal rulings, and timeline dramatically changes how behavior is interpreted. Cases like this remind us that body language is not mind reading. It is probabilistic, contextual, and deeply influenced by stress, personality, physiology, and circumstance. I tend to watch most videos at 2x speed and so sometimes the small tells actually register more. Like the no shakes she had were shockingly frequent.

Saying you have "excessive amounts of remorse" is a BANANAS thing to say after UNALIVING TWO PEOPLE. No person capable of empathy would ever say that the remorse they carry is "excessive".

I was in a near car crash, where the driver passed out (from an undiagnosed medical condition) it caused him to accelerate, but no way could he control the car.

Anytime somone says "my truth" i immediately become super skeptical about what they say next. There is no "my truth" or "your truth" there is only THE truth. Hearing people say that drives me crazy

"excessive amounts" was for sure an interesting choice of words I said out loud to my empty office "I don't think that words means what you think it means"

It's just hard to believe that the Judge didn't give her 30yrs with the possibility of parole 15yrs for sinister EVIL SELFISH ACT does NOT fit the crime and pay the victims the RESPECT they both deserve. IMO

The giant smile when she says “I just woke up and my whole life was shattered” and when she talks about the boys who she is responsible for their death she smiles. It’s so off putting. She’s guilty af

When you hear her voice on the doco , versus her voice when she talks to her mother, the doco persona is definitely an act.

Dominics family says he and Davion had plans that didn't include Shrilla at all So no marriage was in Doms plans.

She didn’t even think to thank the police or firefighters that saved her

FYI you “trip” on psilocybin… you “roll” on MDMA . No amount of tripping would make someone do that. it would be too scary of an experience to last until the crash. I specialize in psychedelic plants and fungi.

There is a collection of prison calls that gives great insight into her behavior. She curses people out, tells them to shut up, calls people annoying, all while being on the phone with her mom. Never does she offer correction, suggests she calms down, nothing... just allows her to be the mean girl she is.

She rolled her eyes at “rage you couldn’t control.” She should rot in jail.

Netflix is terrible at making documentaries, bc this one definitely favored her. They completely missed that 3 days before to the crash, this girl did a dry run. like…..

She says Davion was "full of life," but she doesn't show any emotion as the person who took that life away from him and his loved ones forever. She claimed that Dominic was the love of her life, but she treated him like crap when he was alive and now shows no emotion about being responsible for killing him. She's all about how she's perceived and how this whole situation has affected HER life. She doesn't care about the families of Dominic and Davion, and she really doesn't care about her own family either. She uses her family for her own needs and doesn't care if it affects their lives or not, as long as they keep HER as the main focus. Her tears in the courtroom were for herself, not the people she killed. Her mother's statement in court was just horrible and tells a lot about how Mackenzie was raised. She made it all about Mackenzie, making excuses for her again like she has Mackenzie's whole life. "My whole life is shattered." That sums it up, right there. She blamed Dominic for all the troubles in their relationship when he was alive, and now that he's dead, I think she's blaming him for her being in prison and ruining her life. If only he had just followed her orders in the first place like a good boyfriend, this wouldn't have happened. His lack of communication skills must be to blame, right? 🙄Even in death, she's still criticizing him.

the moment she sat down you can tell she absolutely does not care. she moves into frame just like a mean girl coming late to class already trying to start something.

One thing I like about you is that you’re fair with your observations. You bring up many points as to why she may be exhibiting certain actions and behaviors instead of this shows guilt so she’s lying! There are many body language experts/readers on here that aren’t like that. Now I believe this girl is guilty as hell so please don’t misconstrue what I’m saying here lol. Just wanted to say that though because not all the time is it an EXACT science for everyone and I like that you in essence remind people of that throughout the reading. Becaue I will definitely say there are many times because I’m super anxious especially during confrontations that when confronted I know it can come off as if I’m lying.

When Natalie does her impact statement she shows exactly where McKenzie got her sense of accountability and remorse.
