How to get jobs at twitch without referral ? Since most of enthusiasts are getting jobs only via social recruiting

I have spent almost more than 5 months to learn advanced math and now I'm thinking it was just a waste of time. Now I'm trying to learn ML but the thing is that although I know a lot in theory I'm not able to write their codes without AI. I have no clue how to stop it, would be so grateful if any advice was given

Awesome Darling.... Why don't you curate a playlist that helps learning the bare minimum math (even programming and everything under the sky ;P) required for a beginner (or even a Indian high school kid who lacks exposure). It would be great If you make innovative videos that can show how you learn (coach or practice) all these using AI itself. To begin with you can make a list that people can follow while you work on making the playlist of videos yourself ;P

What a bad video. Also all topics that were covered were already the very baseline skills for ML back then. And what's even more important in the era of AI is an even deeper understanding of math, so that you can either do edge research on models or you can critically evaluate the vibe coded shit you have to deal with. Otherwise you won't deliver any value to any existing enterprise. Also besides 3b1b, your recommendations are not even anywhere near to an undergraduate program in quant.

Good skills roadmap. But Microsoft cut 15,000, Meta axed 8,000. Better preparation doesn't create more positions. The market is the variable nobody's optimizing for.

Feels like the content could often be half the length and still deliver the same value. Also starting to notice the same ideas and topics being recycled quite a lot. The topics, pacing and presentation reminded me a bit of Tech With Tim. Maybe it’s just the way educational AI content is evolving.

Hey Marina, do you know any good resources for learning about EVAL pipelines? My project could use one 😅

bro instead of putting videos of where to learning and what to learn just tell how to get jobs at entry lvl this type of topic untouched and much needed

I think Sebastian Raschka's book "Machine Learning with PyTorch and Scikit-Learn: Develop machine learning and deep learning models with Python" hits the sweet spot between DIY and pytorch. I had the same issue you mentioned with other resources, without coding at least a basic version, it is hard to get a good understanding and feeling of the algorithms. It describes the basic mathematics quite well but don't take my word for it since most of my career I'm involved in mathmatical modelling of PDEs.

Most hiring is rigged. People need to admit that you need to be liked. There's alot of human bias involved.

Please also make a video where you tell the best latest resources to become AI engineer. AI engineering stack contains a lot and things are moving very fast. I would love if you suggest some good resources. Also how to learn model deoloyement in production?
