So so agree! I’ve been in infrastructure tech for 20 years now and I’m currently a senior systems engineer. Every day, I discover a little more about how little I know.

I did the school route and I frankly learned more via YouTube and self study from ebooks.

I don’t trust anyone who says they’re a master of anything, pure arrogance.

That's what all bachelor degrees mean though. Graduating is the end of the beginning of your learning, not the end.

"I don't like general practioners because they have a broad knowledge. I would trust my family doctor if he had a speciality like neurology or hematology, but since he knows a little of every medical concept, I don't trust him."

I have a masters in cybersecurity and I would agree with you. Its actually one of the reasons job searching can be daunting because you become exposed to so much but master nothing. Well except writing papers about NIST

I have a master in cyber security MANAGEMENT. My bachelor was in civil engineering. In my master program they teach me to write program in python, cloud, machine learning, malwares, etc. Everything on surface level. I eventually wrote my thesis on cryptography, and I probably gonna stick on this because it's the only thing I'm interested in. But they still gave me a cyber security degree.
