Forza Horizon 6 : Is Online Drifting Good Now?!?

So look, rally is a big thing in Mexico and they made an entire DLC for it. They'll more than likely make the "serious" DLC a Drifting based DLC, new drifting races and drifting customization and stuff.

i'm hoping that the only issue that online drifting is facing currently is that the devs are working on other stuff (e.g. playground games) and haven't gotten the time to get onto it yet, but will do in future. online drifting absolutely could be one of the best modes in this entire game given how great the map is, if some actual work is put into it

Honestly thank you for the video. really hope the devs are gonna work on atleast some of the Problems with Drifting in this game.. Can go offroad in Driftzones is so fucked up :(

An eliminator mode for drifting. I like that idea. Basically like the Eliminator but when you challenge a driver, you have a 60 second timer, whoever’s gets the highest score wins and then the loser is eliminated and you carry on until there are 5 of you left. You have a 3 minute timer and whoever gets the highest score wins.

I think maybe they didn’t want to focus too much on drifting as there would be people complaining about Japan isn’t just drifting, which I agree it isn’t and I wish they had a Togue type story like how they have a drift story in game but they’ve always had drift club so

- This is a big oversight for a game being set in Japan. The drifiting have so many issues and being treated like an afterthought. And i'm not really that into drifiting but, there is a huge community and player base to be conquered if it's done right...

its been 3 or 4 years since i started watching nick and he still says fortza

the online drift would be better if it was lap-limited rather than time limited but then they would need to change the dnf timer so everyone can complete laps. i thin 2-3 laps would be a good limit. i also think the "horizon drift should limit to RWD by default.

I love what you're saying about reworking the drift scoring system, but what about trying to figure out how to work Formula Drift rule into the game? That's what me and my mates did back in Forza Motorsport drifting, we just did little private sessions and someone had to give a score based on speed, angle, etc, for both the lead and chase cars, each run. And your average for the match determines who wins the 1v1 basically. It doesn't have to be a judged thing, you just define what a perfect 10 looks like and extrapolate from there

Nick. Btw they made it so you have to have all wheels touching the track and the wall in the grass/snow as in fh5 the tryhard way was to just hug the wall and basically follow the wall with the rear of the car

Personally i prefer the Forza Motorsport for the online and tracks / drifting but horizon is is just a fun arcade like version with open world. Cant wait to see more on that Clutch game though.

if you actually wanna drift slow or smoother (in my opinion) use snow tires.

Drift races last about 2min at the most. So 5 minutes makes sense.
