Nice win, but a little lucky Uzbekistan weren't up at least a goal in the first half. Canada looked pretty rusty during that first half, and got better in the 2nd half. Take aways: Larin was not good. He had a wide open Buchanan streaking down on his right, and instead whiffs a lame shot wide (2:00) Promise David looks amazing, and I thought that goal was onside? No? Perhaps Jayden Nelson should on this team now? He really worked hard and helped Canada win.

We were there, wife left at 70th minute but of course me and kids are true fans that stayed well after the last whistle, we were rewarded with the whole team and Osorio on drums right in front of us!!!!! What a great night!!! Kids were so excited!!! Off to Camrose Night Classic next weekend!!! Greetings from St. Paul!.

priso was incredible on the ball in the 2nd half. gotta think if someone else isn't healthy enough to go it's going to be him and nelson, or one of the two. looked a lot better in the 2nd half. conditions weren't great, but job done! onto montreal π¨π¦ π¨π¦
Jayden Nelson's finish is one of the coolest I've ever seen. The simplest-looking goals are sometimes the hardest to execute... but in this case, it really seemed effortless on his part.

The result is encouraging, but the first-half display wasnβt particularly convincing. Without the ball, there were defensive lapses and positional issues that better sides than Uzbekistan would be expected to punish.

Few thoughts on that game: That pitch looked like an absolute nightmare to play on. Thankfully nobody got injured, but Bombito definitely still looks injured unfortunately. Tani needs to be a lot more clinical when he gets the ball. Far too wasteful when he was in good positions. Priso HAS to make this squad. He looked amazing tonight.

Fitness is such a concern. All those guys in the starting lineup who have hardly played at all this year looked dreadful in the first half
