When you do the price comparison, please note the per unit price because you get much bigger packages in the US.

California is much more expensive than 3/4 of the rest of the US because of added tax and added burden to business. π’

Loved this video! As an American follower I would love to see the actual receipts as I'm curious about how specific items compares to where I live. Also what part of California? Is it LA? Orange county? Just to get a sense of if there is a difference even within California.

Calling them 'chips' rather than crisps and 'pop' when you've lived in america a year is very fake.... Your accent can change (it hasn't) but changing what words you say is fully put on, especially when you've said your audience is mostly British

What's I've noticed is that everything is in plastic packages. It's much better to visit local butcher and buy meat or go to the market or grocery and buy fresh fruit and veggies without them being in plastic bags. That's a very noticeable difference between Europe and the US.

Our favourite chicken recipe is Jerk chicken with sweet potato, Coconut rice and Pineapple salsa. BBC Good Foods has a recipe for Jerk Pork, but I use chicken instead it's delicious and pretty healthy if you want something a bit different- gluten free, too. Xxx

I recently ordered those same Medicube pads! My sister told me her friends are absolutely obsessed and now I have to try them! I can't wait to try them out before I get married. <3

Iβve seen that you like to cook and have made items from scratch. Well this year I have made my own grape jelly. Iβve made sweet relish. I would totally recommend trying it for jams and jelly. Iβve also grown and put up some of my own fruits/vegetables before because that way I know what has been put on them(no chemicals). Iβve grown blueberries, strawberries, mulberries, blackberries, peaches, peas, tomatoes, corn, squash, turnips/collards, peppers, potatoes, onions, okra, and broccoli is just some off the top of my head. I do plan to do a lot more canning this year.
