A design built around compromises between simplicity, battlefield effectiveness, and strategic mobility. In this film, we take a look at this late-war Soviet medium tank. The T-34-85 was far from comfortable. It was difficult to handle and designed with little consideration for crew ergonomics. But in the hands of a strong and skilled crew, it was fast, mobile, and deadly effective. But why was the T-34-85 so difficult to operate? What made it such an important symbol of Red Army mobile warfare in the Second World War? And, how did the Soviets use tanks like these to compensate for their lack of armored personnel carriers? Watch our new film to see how the T-34-85 was built, how it fought, and what it took to survive inside one of the most iconic tanks of the war. Sources: Kolomiets M. V., T-34. Finally, a Video On T-34-85
We don't deserve documentaries and animations this good, but we're damn lucky and grateful we do anyway. Cheers from Aus Blue Paw Print.
strong, but nothing compares to that: **200mm autocannon tankette**
ANOTHER VID FROM THE GOAT!
I'm building the 1/35 T-34-85 miniart and saw this video, what a coincidence. Also good work BPP
У меня в городе стоит Т34-85 на постаменте. В детстве мы заползали в него через люк в днище, он был открытым. В шкафу забитым вещами намного просторнее. Спасибо за видео!
These animations are beyond my comprehension, and you say you all did this for the love of it? This stuff kicks multi-million dollar studios out of the water! Thank you so much, Yarnhub!
I must say, you have very impressive skills for gathering this information. I have been a tank enthusiast for about five years and had no idea about some of these things. For example I always thought that the external tanks fed straight to the engine! I am very thankful of your channel and work and hope you keep it up!
Хорошая работа!👍 Возможно, одно из не многих видео... даже единичных, где столько достоверной и подробной информации в одном месте!

insane refresh pull
Oh my God, BPP animated T-34. I am in heaven!
One of the most fascinating aspects of the T34 to me were track linkages. It had a floating pin that secured tracks meaning the pins weren't locked together like other tracked vehicles. They had to rely on a wedge installed near the sprockets to ram em back in place. I always wondered how much they had to throw track back in the day. Theres probably so many little things they did to get this tank out the door so fast. Incredibly clever design for manufacturing while being just enough for enemy vehicles.
My god man… this is wild! Hats off to the guys doing this animation AND the people doing all this in depth research👏 This is another absolutely fascinating video. I’d like to see kv-1 or kv-2
Хорошая работа!
3:58 OH MY GOD... Even the subtle rifling marks that gradually appear on the projectile are modelled. The attention to detail is absolutely insane
Please do a video on "Inside the M1A2 Abrams" or "Inside the T72-B3/T90M" Thank you so much for these documentaries, I absolutely love them and cannot wait for Brass Rain!
Отличная работа! Спасибо за видео!

Not the strongest tank of WWII, but probably the one that mattered the most! Building nearly 1,200 tanks per month is almost as impressive as the tank itself...
