0:21 NOOOOOO DAN DONT DO IT IT MAKES THE AI ACTIVELY CHEAT FOR GOOD ROLLS
The first computer coded to say "I've played enough monopoly. Don't give me anything"
I love how RT's struggling so hard to find people to play with him anymore from all his antics that he had to load an AI. 😂😂 Lord bless ya', RT. Amazing video as always.🎉
I remember watching the first bit of the stream, leaving to get food, and coming back to Rin and Spiff being bankrupt and that AI chaos unfolding going "wtf did I miss??" Just happy I won the prediction ig lol
That mortgage bug was actually really interesting. The ai needed to mortgage to afford the rent, so it began mortgaging enough properties to earn the necessary funds. Tragically, the number the code was using to track available funds didn't include the cash on hand, so it had to mortgage > $1k to afford the rent. Upon paying rent, it then realized it had plenty of cash leftover, so it spent some of that to unmortgage some of its properties. From the ai's perspective, that was a fairly reasonable and sensible series of events, mostly because it seems to suffer from some selective short-term memory loss.
My niece and I used to play a version of Monopoly where every time a player rolled doubles, play would reverse direction, for a fee you could take the railroad of one player to another they owned., and taxes went into the center for anyone who lands on Free Parking to collect. We had to add that the bank has double money, because sometimes the middle of the board would have most of it.
I would expect nothing less from Realestate Tycoon Game
Nice to see even the world of Monopoly has hostile architecture in the form of benches homeless people can't sleep on 14:45
12:34 He's not wrong. For context: Glup Shitto is the made up name given to any alien race in Star Wars who's official name either does not exist or was never shared at any point.
Rumble tumble, John vtuber, Spiff finally together with the incrediblely iconic Pyper! Truly a meeting clearly years in the making
29:16 this was the funniest thing i have seen in years, for the first time in like 4 years i laughed so hard i was literally crying, i was just in complete disbelief
I actually think the AI declining those free deals is good game design since it prevents people from turning against someone by giving all of their stuff to the AI.
1:12 not pictured: Spiff, world-renowned streamer with 0 streams, trying to figure out how to use twitch to no avail, holding up the start of the game for like 10 minutes
I honestly almost respect that AI for flat out refusing to be bailed out. If it wasn't so utterly moronic, it'd almost smack of integrity.
14:25 “Standing” is when you temporarily stop your car in a spot. “No standing” means you can’t stop your car there unless you’re quickly dropping someone off or picking someone up
That AI was quite smart, it realised that the only way to end this suffering quickly was throwing the game
The long awaited Collab between Ubisoft and Hasbro, two of the game companies of all time
I despised when I would play Monopoly with my friends and they would intentionally not tell you when you passed go and forgot to grab money even after I reminded them when they forgot
Shootout to the time Markiplier played a different ubisoft Monopoly game with some friends and Bob had the single most cracked run I've ever seen only for it to kick him out for no good reason and ruin everything. That's quality ubisoft craftsmanship right there. It also timed you out if you did nothing too long except "nothing" also includes trading, which can be real bullshit sometimes 4:36 "since when can you pay 50 to leave jail?" Always?? If you fail 3 dice rolls, you have to pay but you can just pay early. Every version of monopoly I've ever seen has had that mechanic, including monopoly on the wii (my childhood)
"Fancy a round of Monopoly?" as if it's just going to take a couple minutes
