North Korea and South Korea get along very well at the individual level, this isn't shocking at all. Whereas the places you mostly listed in the Balkans tend to view their neighbors either with irredensist fervor, or at the very least as two separate, rival peoples, Koreans view themselves as one people divided by circumstance, more like East Germany and West Germany. Quite famously, South Korean fans at major tournaments will also attend North Korea's matches and support them if they're also competing, like at the Asian Cup, or the EAFF tournament.

And then there is Israel, which should be banned from playing every national team.
