The Grass Only Moves the Living... and That Makes It Worse | In The Tall Grass (2019)

Paragraph guy: (Spoilers): An already pregnant lady and her brother hear cries from a little boy in the tall grass. Movie is also called "In the Tall Grass." They meet a future version of the boy eventually I think. The man who got her pregnant goes in to find her after she goes missing, for him more time has passed than for her, though he was originally unsupportive of the pregnancy. The little boy's parents dies. Time loops equates to people dying and two versions of the same person. Something about a weird rock and the grass being able to mind-control you if you touch it. When the little boy's father touches the rock, he becomes evil and tries and kills people including the pregnant lady. The little boy ends up being mind controlled at one point but because this is a weird time traveling movie, there is also at the same time-ish a version of him in the movie. Basically, the version of the little-boy pre-evil gets saved in the end, and the man who got the pregnant lady pregnant sacrifices himself, allowing the little boy to get to the pregnant lady and her brother before they even enter the tall grass, even though they can still hear the little boy's cries in the tall grass calling them to come in, the present version of the little boy convinces the lady and her brother to leave and drive away. Also, I had a hard time not being reminded of Finn from Bunk'd when watching.

Ive had dreams like this movie. Just mind fuck after mind fuck. Thinking youre out snd awake, just to be sucked back in to being tormente. Fuck its happening again

I love it when you know the place your going to only for it to feel familiar and realise you're in a dream within a dream within another dream and you've been stuck like that for decades even though irl it only takes a few hours. This can occur in reality as well. If you do see an anomaly that's just a mouth with canine teeth I'd advise you to wake up. Or take meds, ignoring it won't help.
