No lie...I went to Sephora to get my wife something for Mother's Day, and I told a sales clerk, "My wife April..." and she completed it by saying my last name. My wife had spent THAT much money there.
That last one looked the most lived in, which makes sense if that's the most comfortable.
I don’t know why more stores don’t have husband chairs. If my husband doesn’t have somewhere to sit, hold bags, and scroll on his phone then he’s pestering me to leave. If he’s content, then I can shop more 😏
It’s also elderly chairs, people who’ve worked all day chairs, human chairs. These stores need to invest in humanity a lot more.

It isnt just husband chairs. Its Nana chairs, Mimi chairs, grandparents chairs, friend chairs. People go to the mall as friend and family groups. Not everuone is imvested at every store and the older people need breaks. Bring back lounge areas and more money will get spent. My mom used to park herself at Barns and Noble with a coffee and a new bought book and us teens would spend every last dollar alotted. Then, because we took so much time we ended up buying lunch and dinner some Saturdays, then snacks, then useless impulse purchases and entertainment.
If there's not a wife chair at a record store, I'm not going. Because my husband will spend years. But give me a book or proprietor who will tell me their life story and a chair. He can take his time until I get hungry.
