the second story: can totally relate about the matching family attire especially on your big day. please proceed with everything you have set and prepared. biar je your npd father to wear black macam perkabungan on your wedding day. if you change everyone's attire to black just to match the father, you're catering to his behaviour and allowing him to continue. Alhamdulillah, you're getting married and inshaAllah, you'll marry the right one who celebrates every single achievements of yours including the small ones. dont stress yourself on someone who's beyond repair.

2nd story - girl, i totally understand u because u are not the only one facing the same thing. Tapi nothing u can change about ur parents attitude. My late father pun x suka bergambar dan stay lama2 kat majlis convo i. Raya pun kitorang x pernah sedondon sbb dia x suka pakai baju warna yg cerah2. Until my wedding day pun dia masih mcm tu. so i dah x fikir sngt kalau dia xnak pakai apa yg i decide. My wedding pics ada je gambar muka dia tgh masam muka. For me the important thing is kehadiran dia masa wedding i, bcoz it was the last wedding in my family. Later i found out dia ada tumor dalam otak for a quite long time, sbb tu dia cepat rimas dlm majlis lama2 dan panas baran. He passed away after 5 months of my wedding. My 2 cents is kalau parents u x boleh ikut yg u dah plan, let them be. If u value kehadiran diorang dlm majlis u, then focus on that. X semua org ada family yg sempurna but we still can break the chain. Good luck for you and your wedding semoga semuanya berjalan dgn lancar.
