The men’s room has no regular toilet, only adjustable splash-proof urinals, because Larry does not want customers using his coffee shop for anything serious. The women’s room is even stranger: customers have to hold onto bars and squat in a position that feels more like Pilates than a bathroom. At first, Larry thinks all of this is smart design. But when Latte Larry’s catches fire, every clever choice becomes part of the disaster. The fixed tables block the firefighters, the Purell on every table makes the fire spread faster, and when they try to get water from the bathroom, there is no toilet.
