My parents staying together for 15 years after their love for eachother dissolved was the worst thing that happened to me. Giving my father partial custody after they finally divorced was a horrible decision as I wasn’t asked and would’ve distanced myself from his abuse sooner if I had the option.

The thing is we do have the specialist assessment tools to understand the unique dynamics in families subject to alienation. We have attachment science which tells how children and parents are actually thinking about each other and most importantly why, and we have specialist child and family therapists who can help even the alienator. We have forensics techniques to call out when allegations are false but these specialists have been driven out, not just in the UK but across Europe, Australia and the US. Its an outrage and families and children are being harmed on a massive scale because all this has been allowed to happen. But the more people speak out the more the can be done to change whats going on.

Great documentary, very brave of people sharing their experiences too and amazing to see so many there to get the message out. I spoke with Mark from Family Court Voice about my case, final hearing is for the 3rd June, just over 11 months and nearly £40k spent on legal fees, so many accusations and it always seems like a case of Guilty until proven innocent. Hopefully the message is picked up and taken seriously by those that need to make and enforce change

Oh man I'd love to get our story out! Ongoing since 2015 my daughter is so tough. Joint legal custody yet she's still continuing no warning no nothing. I've faced false arrest false allegations and I proved my innocence beat the case. But that doesn't matter it makes the narc more angry. Jealous of my daughter I can't help but feel that way

What's very relevant too , is that the law incentives and encourages divorce , it actually pays the alienator to prevent contact , the law incentives family break up and no contact , the Swedish system of divorce should be made here

In family court they do a lot of "come back later". Later is not next week but 4 months later. I asked in February if I could attend my child's school graduation at the end of June and they said there wasn't enough time to decide - I should have asked at least 6 months earlier (but six months earlier I didn't know if she would be approved to graduate).
